A damaged or bent transverse arm must not be straightened and must be replaced with a new one. If the bushing is worn out, it is enough to replace it, it is better in a car repair shop - this is a job for professionals who have a special tool and a hydraulic press.
SEQUENCE OF WORK
1. Raise the car in a horizontal position and secure it on supports. Remove the front wheel.
2. Turn out a bolt of fastening of a spherical hinge of the cross-section lever to a rotary fist.
3. Remove the ball joint trunnion from the steering knuckle with a puller.
4. Turn out two bolts of fastening of the lever to a beam of a forward suspension bracket.
5. Lower the transverse arm down and remove it from the front suspension beam.
