Combined beam with transverse levers.
Pic. 13.6. Combined rear suspension beam with transverse levers: 1 - rear beam hinge that regulates the wheel track
The beam is made in the form of a V-shaped channel with welded trailing arms with a geometry that regulates the rear wheel track (pic. 13.6). The front lugs of the trailing arms of the suspension are pivotally fixed in the thrust blocks. Thrust blocks are fixed on the bottom of the body. For «elastic» movement of the beam, the lugs of the longitudinal suspension arms are fixed by the guide pin and bushing.
Shock absorbers.
Telescopic shock absorbers with coil springs are located next to the wheels and are mounted on the trailing arms. The upper parts of the shock absorber struts are mounted in the domes of the car body.
