Onboard tool kit

Pic. 2.10. Onboard tool kit: 1 - lantern; 2 - universal pliers; 3 - electrical wire; 4 - insulating tape; 5 - a set of fuses; 6 - a set of wires for starting the engine; 7 - a set of lamps; 8 - balloon key; 9 - towing cable

Make sure your vehicle is equipped with tools, as tools stored in the garage will not help you on the road. Your car is already equipped with a jack and a screwdriver. For local lighting, put a lantern in the kit 1 (pic. 2.10). In case of unreliable contact or disconnected connection of wires, universal pliers 2, a spare electrical wire 3 and insulating tape 4 will help you. You should also have a set of lamps 7 and fuses 5, a tow rope 9, a set of wires 6 for starting the engine and a wheelbrace 8 for wheels. Also, keep the existing repair manual better in the car than at home on the bookshelf.

This kit is also required for work inside the vehicle (with 1/4" square). Along with Phillips, slotted, Torx screws and plastic latch clips, manufacturers mainly use bolts with head sizes from 6 to 13 mm.
