Removing the radiator fan

SEQUENCE OF WORK

1. Raise the front of the vehicle. Disconnect the wire from the negative battery terminal (terminal «31») and a connector from the radiator fan motor. Remove the wire from the guides.

2. Remove the bottom facing of a radiator.

3. Slightly lift the fan together with the supports and pull it out of the supports (pic. 6.10). Then pull it downwards from the engine compartment.

4. Turn away three nuts and remove the fan of a radiator from a casing.

5. Remove the fan impeller from the fan motor shaft. To maintain balance, first mark the position of the impeller on the motor shaft.

6. Install the new engine in the reverse order of removal.
