Radiator fan

            0

A faulty radiator fan can cause the coolant to overheat, of course only when the engine is running for a long time at idle, in intermittent driving at the end of the day, or in traffic jams. A malfunctioning radiator fan does not mean that you should stop driving immediately. Stop the car, turn off the engine and wait until it cools down, after which you can drive at an average engine speed and relatively low speed to the nearest service station. At the same time, do not lose sight of the temperature gauge. However, idling the engine and driving at low speed is very dangerous for the engine, since in this case there is practically no air flow to cool the radiator.

WARNING

If you have just turned off a hot engine, do not put your hands under the fan impeller. The fan may turn on unexpectedly even when the ignition is off.
