Accelerator cable

The connection of the accelerator pedal and the throttle valve is carried out by the accelerator cable. By itself, it is an inconspicuous structural element, however, if it moves tightly and does not provide a smooth turn of the throttle, the smooth operation of the engine is disturbed when changing its operating modes. In extreme cases, the engine will howl with every start or gear change, as the return spring will not be able to close the throttle quickly. If these symptoms appear, apply a few drops of engine oil to the cable every time you open the hood, and more after washing the engine.
