Visual inspection of the diesel injection system

SEQUENCE OF WORK

1. Check that the high pressure fuel line and fuel return line are securely connected.

2. Check up tightness of a cover of the case of the distributor of the fuel pump.

3. Check the condition of the fuel filter (frequency of filter replacement after 45,000 km of vehicle run).

4. Check the tightness of the plug on the nozzle of the 4th cylinder.

5. Check the tightness of the supply and return fuel lines.

6. Check the tightness of the O-rings of the fuel control lever of the high pressure fuel pump (injection pump).
