Before installation, complete the new hood with the mounting parts of the old hood.
Unscrew bolts of the lock of a cowl.
Fasten the hood with the hinge bolts slightly pulled forward and align so that the hood is in the same plane with the radiator grille and the dimensions of the slots in relation to the wings are the same everywhere.
Screw in both thrust shock absorbers of the hood support.
Close the hood and adjust it flush with the hood latch in relation to both fenders. Then unscrew the rubber bumper until the hood still has a minimum preload in the closed position.
Tighten the hood latch. Tighten the hinge bolts. Close the hood and, if necessary, correct the setting.
Let the hood fall into the lock from a height of about 20 cm - due to its weight, it should completely lock. From a lower height, the safety hook must at least engage. If not, move the hood latch up slightly.
