Dismantling on the front axle
At first, proceed as when replacing the brake lining
Fasten the dismantled brake caliper to the welding wire in the wheel housing.
Remove the brake disc guard from the wheel stud. Replace the corroded bracket with a new one.
Mark the position of the brake disc in relation to the wheel hub.
Carefully knock the brake disc off the wheel hub with a rubber mallet.
Thoroughly clean the adjacent surfaces on the wheel hub and on the brake disc with a wire brush. Due to this, more serious disc runout is not allowed (disc wobble).
Install the brake disc on the wheel hub. Read the markings.
Slide the safety clip onto the wheel stud.
Tighten the brake caliper on the steering pivot to 28 Nm.
Complete the installation as described above.
Dismantling on the rear axle
At first, proceed in the same way as when replacing the brake lining.
Fix the dismantled brake caliper with a welding wire in the wheel arch.
Remove the brake disc guard from the wheel stud. Replace the corroded bracket with a new one.
Mark the position of the brake disc in relation to the wheel hub.
Carefully tap the brake disc off the wheel hub with a rubber mallet.
Thoroughly clean the adjacent surfaces on the wheel hub and brake disc with a wire brush. So you do not allow increased beating of the disk (rocking disc).
Slide the brake disc onto the wheel hub. Pay attention to markings.
Slide the safety clip onto the wheel stud.
Tighten the brake caliper to 55 Nm.
Complete the installation as described above.
