The fuel tank must be well filled. Otherwise, put ballast in the trunk (with a half-filled fuel tank, this is about 30 kg).
The assistant gets behind the wheel. Otherwise, put an additional load of 75 kg in the car.
Check tire pressure and increase if necessary.
Place the car in front of an installation, preferably a dark wall. The distance between the front of the car and the wall must be exactly five meters.
Press vigorously on the front and rear of the vehicle to seat the springs.
Set the headlight adjustment mechanism to position «ABOUT».
Measure the distance between the center of both headlights and the ground. Mark the measured value on the wall and connect both points with a line.
Draw a parallel line on the wall five centimeters below. This is the slope of the low beam at five meters away.
Take a bearing through the rear window forward and have your assistant draw a vertical line exactly down the middle of the vehicle.
Measure the distance between the middle of the car and the center point of the headlight (right and left). Transfer these values to the auxiliary line (to the right and left of the point where the line intersects both other lines) and mark with a cross.
Exactly at a distance of five centimeters under these crosses, the break points of the low beam on the installation line should be adjusted.
If your vehicle is equipped with fog lights (optionally), following the same method used when adjusting the main headlights, draw an auxiliary line with setting crosses (middle of fog lights).
Turn the set screws from the side of the engine compartment.

Turn on the ignition and low beam.
Turn the height adjusting screw O until the horizontal edge of the dipped-beam chiaroscuro coincides with the alignment line.
Then turn the side adjustment screw O on the inside of the headlamp until the low beam breakpoint points exactly at the alignment cross. In this case, the proportion of light scattering can go beyond the line by 15%.
Once installed, the high beam will be adjusted automatically.
