Ignition current measurement

Disconnect any spark plug connector and remove the spark plug.

Reconnect the connector to the removed spark plug and place it with perfect ground on the engine block. Be careful when starting, the candle should not fall.

Have your assistant start the engine.

If powerful sparks jump off the spark plug electrode, there is an ignition current.

If sparks do not jump off, first carry out a visual check of the ignition system. If the test fails, check the current supply to the ignition system.
