If the battery has been disconnected, give the on-board computer a head start of about 8 km in order to program all elements with basic data. Otherwise, proceed as follows.
First of all, check the condition of the air hoses.
Is the throttle cable routed correctly? Does it have difficulty moving or jamming?
Check the correct connection of the electrical connectors. They must not be corroded. For further checks, workshops use a special engine tester tuned to the control unit.
Insufficient pressure in the fuel system can also cause fluctuating idle speed. In this case, a pressure test must be carried out in a workshop.
