Checking the idle servomotor

Start the engine at idle.

Include as many consumers as possible. If your Focus has servo control, turn the steering wheel all the way.

The idle speed should decrease for a short time, but then adjust again to the specified value.

If the plug connector on the servomotor is disconnected, the motor must stop immediately.

If not, replace the idle servomotor.
