Power window lifter and rear door window motor

Withdrawal

1. Remove the door trim panel. See Section 501-05 for more information.

2. Remove the side impact protection reinforcement.



3. Remove the door speaker (in the presence of).



4. Disconnect the speaker connector.



5. Disconnect the door latch release lever.

CAUTION: Do not touch the surface of the adhesive as this will prevent re-adhesion.

Disconnect the seal.

• With a plastic knife (disposable) cut the butyl strip to allow the seal to be pulled back.

7. Dock the window control switch electrical connector.



8. Align the regulator clip with the hole.



9. Disconnect the window glass from the regulator clamp.

• 1. Push out the pin.
• 2. Push out the sleeve.
• 3. Remove the window glass from the regulator clip.

CAUTION: Make sure the window glass is adequately supported at the top of the opening.

Using suitable hooks, lift and secure the window glass.



11. Disconnect the window control switch electrical connector.



12. Disconnect the motor electrical connector.



13. Remove the electric motor and a regulator of a window. Remove the screws.

Installation

1. Install the motor and window regulator. Tighten the screws.




2. Connect the motor electrical connector.



3. Dock the window control switch electrical connector.

CAUTION: Make sure the window glass is adequately supported at the top of the opening.

Remove the hooks.



5. Align the regulator clamp with the hole.




6. Fix the window glass in the regulator clamp.

• 1. Push the sleeve inward.
• 2. Push the pin in.
• 3. Push the door glass firmly down to secure the pin in the adjuster clip.

7. Disconnect the window control switch electrical connector.



8. Attach the seal.



9. Attach the door latch release lever.



10. Connect the speaker's electrical connector.



11. Install the door speaker.



12. Install the side impact reinforcement.



13. Install the door trim panel. See Section 501-05 for more information.
