Type and application of body sealant
Sealant for clamping flanges
Use a clamp flange sealant that meets Ford ESK-M4G245-A specification, which does not flow, dries quickly and remains semi-elastic. This sealant can be used to seal joints, for example in the following areas:
- front floor panel and rear floor panel,
- inner wheel arch panel and outer wheel arch panel,
- dashboard,
- body trim panel,
- door flanges.
Also use a clamp flange sealant that meets Ford ESK-M4G245-A specification to seal the outer molding clamp holes, windshield, rear window and side windows.
Anti-corrosion materials
Use weld-penetrating sealants and locally produced anti-corrosion materials to treat all body parts.
