Withdrawal

1.

CAUTION: Cut to a depth equal to twice the thickness of the panel in the center roof rail area.

Roof

• Remove sealant.
• Separate the spot welds.

2. Roof cross member - pillar «A» (at both sides)

• 1. Pull apart the spot welds.
• 2. Bend the tabs up.

3. Roof cross member - pillar «WITH» (at both sides)

• 1. Pull apart the spot welds.
• 2. Bend the tabs up.

Installation

CAUTION: When removing the roof, the door and window frame will move inward. Therefore, before installing the roof, restore the original gap between the door and the window frame (use door clamp).

Prepare remaining body parts and new spare parts

• Remove transport element (new spare part).

2. Roof cross member - pillar «A» (at both sides)

• 1. Perform a puddling weld.
• 2. Bend back the tabs.

3. Roof cross member - pillar «WITH» (at both sides)

• 1. Perform a puddling weld.
• 2. Bend back the tabs.

4. Sealing - corrosion protection

• Seal the roof panel on the left and right side using flange sealant. Apply flange sealant to a thickness that allows the guard strip to remain at its original height and fit accurately.
