The Focus has a 4-way manual driver's seat. Lumbar support adjustment is standard on luxury seats and is also available as an optional feature in some markets. Power driver's seat height adjustment is available as an option in some markets. The passenger seat is a 2-way mechanically adjustable seat with an integrated audio CD changer (in the presence of).

Side airbags are optional equipment for vehicles equipped with driver and passenger front airbags. See Section 501-20A / 501-20B for more information.

The rear seats are of a 60/40 split design, with the rear seat back (section 60%) has a built-in seat belt retractor in 3-door and 5-door versions and in cars "station wagon".


Work principles


Focus vehicle as optional equipment (according to specification) equipped with an electric driver's seat. The seat is controlled by a bi-directional switch that controls the height adjustment of the power seat.

Power height adjustment seats retain the mechanical adjustments. The bi-directional switch operates a single bi-directional motor that, depending on the position of the switch, motorizes the seat up or down through multiple mechanical linkages.
