Rear seat cushion (vehicles after 08.2000)

Disassembly

NOTE: The procedure shows a dual rear seat cushion. The procedure for a single pillow is similar.

NOTE: Save the safety corner.

Detach the seat cushion cover from the seat base.

• Detach the plastic fastening strip.

2. Remove the seat base.



3. Detach the cushion cover from both sides of the cushion.

• 1. Roll up the cushion cover towards the center to access the curved rings.
• 2. Cut the bent rings.

4. Remove the cushion cover.

• 1. Roll the cushion cover back to access the curved rings.
• 2. Cut the bent rings.

Assembly

NOTE: Use bent ring pliers to close the bent rings. Do not use any other tools. Curved rings need to be closed with an overlap of 8 mm as shown in the figure.

To assemble, follow the disassembly procedure in reverse order.
