Sunroof — removal and installation

Withdrawal

1.

NOTE: Make sure the sunroof is in the closed position.

Remove the roof lining. See Section 501-05 for more information.

2. Disconnect the drain hoses from the sunroof panel.



3. Detach the sunroof from the roof panel (12 bolts).



4. Remove the sliding sunroof.

• With the help of another technician, squeeze the clips and lower the manhole cover.

Installation

1.

NOTE: The manhole cover must be properly positioned on the clips before tightening the bolts.

NOTE: Do not fully tighten bolts at this stage.

Install sunroof.

2. Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown.



3. Connect the drain hoses to the sunroof.



4. Install the roof lining. See Section 501-05 for more information.
