Withdrawal

1. General note

• Before repair, remove the back panel.

2. Reinforced lamp mounting panel

• Cut out.

3. Reinforced lamp mounting panel

• Cutting locations.

CAUTION: The light mounting panel is held in place by high temperature soldering.

Light mounting panel

• 1. Remove remaining flanges.
• 2. Cut out.
• 3. Sand down the weld.
• 4. Separate the brazing points.

Installation

1. Reinforced light mounting panel

• 1. Perform MIG welding.
• 2. Perform a puddling weld.

2. Strengthening the floor panel

• Bend up the welded flange of the rear side panel.
• 1. Do a puddling weld (to a depth equal to twice the thickness of the panel)
• 2. Bend up the welded flange of the rear side panel.

3. Light mounting panel

• Bend up the welded flanges.

CAUTION: If the light mounting panel is being replaced in combination with the tailgate, install the tailgate before installing the light mounting panel.

Light mounting panel

• 1. Fold back the welded flange of the rear side panel.
• 2. Perform a puddling weld.
• 3. Solder.
