Power steering fluid | WSA-M2C195-A |
1. Disconnect a broad tank of system of cooling from a wheel arch and place aside.
- 1. Turn out a bolt.
- 2. Disconnect the expansion tank of the cooling system.
2. Disconnect the power steering reservoir from the wheel arch.
3.
NOTE: Using a suitable plug, plug the power steering reservoir.
Disconnect the power steering fluid cooler return line from the power steering reservoir. Let the liquid drain into a suitable container.
4. Place the end of the power steering fluid cooler return line in a suitable container.
5. Remove the spark plugs.
6. Raise and support the vehicle. See Section 100-02 for more information.
7. Disconnect the crankshaft position sensor connector (TFR).
8.
NOTE: Lower the vehicle until the vehicle's wheels are off the floor to allow the steering wheel to turn from lock to lock.
Lower the car.
9.
NOTE: When adding power steering fluid to the power steering reservoir, make sure the power steering fluid is clean. Do not agitate the working fluid before using it. To reduce the level of saturation of the liquid with air, pour it into the reservoir slowly. The fluid level should be checked when the fluid is cold.
Fill the power steering fluid reservoir up to the MAX mark.
10.
CAUTION: Do not crank the engine continuously for more than 30 seconds as this could damage the starter.
NOTE: When flushing the power steering system, check that the power steering fluid level in the power steering reservoir does not fall below the minimum mark.
When cranking the engine for a period of time not exceeding 30 seconds, turn the steering wheel from lock to lock. With the help of another technician, add 1 liter of clean power steering fluid such as power steering fluid.
11. Wait 60 seconds to allow the starter to cool down.
12.
CAUTION: Do not crank the engine continuously for more than 30 seconds as this could damage the starter.
NOTE: When flushing the power steering system, check that the power steering fluid level in the power steering reservoir does not fall below the minimum mark.
When cranking the engine over the next 30 seconds, turn the steering wheel from lock to lock. With the help of another technician, add 1 liter of clean power steering fluid such as power steering fluid.
13. After all the liquid has been filled, turn the ignition switch to the position "OFF" ("off").
14. Raise and support the vehicle. See Section 100-02 for more information.
15. Connect the plug connector of the CKP sensor.
16. Lower the car.
17.
NOTE: Remove the plug from the power steering reservoir.
Connect the power steering fluid cooler return line to the power steering reservoir.
18. Fix a reservoir of the amplifier of a steering on a wheel arch.
19. Fix a broad tank of system of cooling on a wheel arch.
- 1.Fix the expansion tank of the cooling system.
- 2.Install the bolt.
20. Install spark plugs.
21.
NOTE: When pouring working fluid into the reservoir, make sure the fluid is clean. Do not shake it before use. Fluid should be poured slowly into the reservoir to minimize the possibility of gas saturation. The fluid level should be checked when the fluid is cold.
Pour liquid into the reservoir up to the mark "MAX".
22. Start the engine and slowly turn the steering wheel all the way to and fro.
23. Turn off the engine.
24. Check fluid level. If necessary, add the required amount of working fluid.
