General equipment: Hose clamp.
Withdrawal
1. Remove the accessory drive belt. See Section 303-05 for more information.
2. Lower the car.
3. Disconnect the power steering lines support brackets from the engine.
- Turn out bolts.
- Disconnect the speed control cable (in the presence of).
4. Disconnect the power steering pressure switch connector (PSP). Press the locking element.

NOTE: Using a hose clamp, pinch the power steering hose.
Disconnect the power steering hose from the power steering pump. Let the liquid drain into a suitable container.
6. Using the special tool, disconnect the power steering line from the power steering pump. Let the liquid drain into a suitable container.
7. Remove the power steering pump.
8. Remove the PSP relay.
Installation
1.
NOTE: If installing a new power steering pump, the nipples included with the new pump should be removed and stored for later use.
Using the special tool, install a new O-ring to the power steering line to power steering pump connection nipple.
- 1.Place the O-ring on the special tool.
- 2.Install the special tool on the nipple and install the O-ring in the required position.
2. Install the PSP relay.
3. Install the power steering pump.
4. Using the special tool, connect the power steering line to the power steering pump.
5. Connect the power steering hose to the power steering pump. Remove the clamp.
6. Connect the plug connector of the PSP relay.
7. Connect the power steering lines support brackets to the engine.
- Screw in the bolts.
- Connect the speed control cable (in the presence of).
8. Install the accessory drive belt. See Section 303-05 for more information.
9. Add working fluid to the power steering system and bleed air from the system. See Section 211-00 for more information.
