Adjustment

NOTE: This operation must be performed with the vehicle on a level, flat, level surface.
When using specific wheel alignment equipment, follow the equipment manufacturer's instructions.
2. Inspect all suspension components for signs of damage or wear.
3. Check and, if necessary, correct the tire pressure to normal. Make sure that the weight of the car corresponds to its own weight, and that the jack, spare wheel and tools are in their places. Additional elements should be removed from the car.
4. Rock the car (how to test shock absorbers), to make sure the suspension is in the normal resting position.
5. Using appropriate wheel alignment equipment (for four wheels) , check wheel alignment.
6. Raise and support the vehicle. See Section 100-02 for more information.
7. Set the hanger to the calculated height. See Section 204-00 for more information.
8. Loosen the nut.
9. Tighten the nut.
10. Lower the suspension out of its reference height position.
11. Install the spring. For more information, refer to the chapter Spring available in this section.
12. Lower the car.
- Rock the car (how to test shock absorbers), to make sure the suspension is in the normal resting position.
13. Adjust wheel alignment.
- To achieve the required convergence of the wheels, rotate the bolt and eccentric washer.
14. Raise and support the vehicle. See Section 100-02 for more information.
15. Tighten the nut.
16. Use a 32mm socket wrench.
