Inspection and verification

To maximize tire performance, inspect tires for improper inflation and uneven wear, which may indicate a need for balancing, tire rotation, or front suspension adjustment. Tires should also be regularly inspected for cuts, bulging due to gravel inclusions, abrasion, swelling, and foreign matter embedded in the tire tread. More frequent inspections are recommended in the event of sudden temperature changes or extreme temperatures, poor road quality or presence of foreign objects on the road surface.

For an additional visual check of tire condition, molded tread wear indicators are provided in the tread grooves. When these indicator strips become visible, new tires should be installed.
