Coupling with spring lock

1.

NOTE: Select a special tool that matches the diameter of the line.

Install the special tool.

• Install the special tool so that the inner ring can be guided into the clamp spring.

2. Press the special tool into the clamp spring.



3. Disconnect the refrigerant line.

• Discard O-rings of circular cross-section.

4. Dock the refrigerant line.

• Check the clamp spring for damage.
• Carefully remove any damaged clamp springs using a thin piece of wire and install new springs.

NOTE: Clean the connections using cooling oil and a lint-free cloth.

Press the indicator ring into the clamp spring.

NOTE: Install new O-rings on the refrigerant lines.

NOTE: Apply clean refrigerant oil to the O-rings on the refrigerant lines before installation.

Connect the refrigerant lines.

• Check that the clamping spring is correctly fixed.
