Withdrawal
All cars
1. Remove headlight assembly. For more information, refer to the headlight assembly available in this section.
WARNING: High voltage is present in this system. Make sure the headlight assembly connector is disconnected when the headlight rear cover is removed. Failure to follow this instruction may result in injury.
2. Remove the rear headlight cover.

CAUTION: Make sure the headlights do not turn on when the headlight connector is disconnected.
CAUTION: Make sure the headlight bulb retaining ring does not turn when the headlight bulb starter is removed.
NOTE: The headlight bulb starter connector will automatically disconnect when the headlight bulb starter is removed.
Remove the headlight bulb starter.
4. Remove the headlight bulb retaining ring.

CAUTION: Make sure the headlights do not turn on when the headlight bulb connector is disconnected.
NOTE: The headlight bulb starter connector will automatically disconnect when the headlight bulb starter is removed.
Remove the headlight bulb starter.
6. Release the headlight bulb U-clip from the mounting hardware.

WARNING: Use safety goggles and gloves when removing and installing xenon headlight bulbs. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury.
CAUTION: Do not touch the glass surface of the headlight bulb.
Remove the headlight bulb.
Installation
All cars
1. Install the headlight bulb.

2. Install the headlight bulb retaining ring.
Vehicles manufactured since 04.2002
3. Connect the headlight bulb U-clamp to the mounting hardware.
All cars
4. Install the headlight bulb starter.
5. Connect the headlight bulb starter connector.
6. Install the headlight rear cover assembly.
7. Install the headlight assembly. For more information, refer to the headlight assembly available in this section.
