Headlight range control motor (vehicles after 10.2001)

Withdrawal

1. Remove the headlight. For more information, see headlights (On the one side) available in this section.

WARNING: If the vehicle is equipped with xenon headlights, high voltage is present in the system. Before removing the headlight rear cover, make sure that the headlight connector is disconnected. Failure to follow this instruction may result in injury.

Remove the rear headlight cover.



3. Disconnect the headlight beam leveling motor connector.

NOTE: Turn the headlight beam leveling motor counterclockwise when removing the right headlight and clockwise when removing the left headlight.

Turn the headlamp leveling motor until it stops (right side shown).



5. Remove the electric motor of the corrector of an inclination of light of a headlight.

Installation

NOTE: Make sure the headlight range control motor ball is inserted into the guide.

Reinstall the elements in reverse order.
