High Beam Headlight Bulb

Withdrawal

1. Remove the headlight. For more information, see headlights (On the one side) available in this section.

WARNING: High voltage is present in the system. Before removing the headlight rear cover, make sure that the headlight connector is disconnected. Failure to follow this instruction may result in injury.

Remove the rear headlight cover.

NOTE: Turn the headlight beam leveling motor counterclockwise when removing the right headlight and clockwise when removing the left headlight.

Turn the headlamp leveling motor until it stops (right side shown).



4. Disconnect the headlamp leveling motor from the bracket.



5. Turn the high beam bulb counterclockwise.

• Remove the headlight bulb.

6. Remove the high beam lamp.

Installation

NOTE: Make sure the headlight beam leveling motor ball joint is installed correctly.

Reinstall the elements in reverse order.
