Headlight tilt sensor — removal and installation

Withdrawal

1. Raise and support the vehicle. See Section 100-02 for more information.

2. Disconnect the plug connector of the headlight range correction sensor (rear sensor shown).

• Disconnect the wiring harness from the bracket.

3. Disconnect the connecting rod from the bracket (rear sensor shown).



4. Remove the headlamp leveling sensor together with the bracket (rear sensor shown).



5. Remove the headlamp leveling sensor together with the bracket (front sensor shown).



6. Disconnect the connecting rod from the headlight range correction sensor.



7. Remove the headlight range correction sensor.

Installation

NOTE: After installing the headlamp leveling sensor, initialize the headlight beam leveling system using WDS.

Reinstall the elements in reverse order.
