These labels should not be removed. Warnings are intended to draw the attention of owners/drivers and personnel performing repairs or maintenance on the vehicle.
The most frequently encountered labels are reproduced below. An explanation of the warning signs is given nearby.
1. If components or components are provided with a warning triangle and an open book symbol, this means that before touching these components or components or attempting to make any adjustment, you should refer to the appropriate section of the Vehicle Owner's Manual.
2. If elements or assemblies are equipped with a warning triangle with an arrow "electrical discharge" and the symbol of an open book, this indicates that these elements and nodes are characterized by the presence of high voltage. Never touch these parts while the engine is running or the ignition is on. See chapter "electric shock" in this subsection.
3. This symbol identifies Ford vehicles and replacement parts that contain asbestos. See chapter "Asbestos" in this subsection.
4. If elements or nodes are provided with such a sign, this indicates that the element contains a chemically aggressive substance. See chapter "Acids and alkalis" in this subsection.
5. If the car is equipped with a warning circle with the image of a crossed-out lighted match, this indicates the prohibition of the use of open flames (flame) in the immediate vicinity of such a vehicle, because it carries flammable or explosive liquids or gases under pressure. See chapter "Fire" in this subsection.
6. If the car is equipped with this sign (usually paired with the sign described in paragraph 5), this indicates the presence of a potentially explosive substance in the immediate vicinity.
7. If cars are equipped with this sign, this indicates that children should not be in close proximity to them without appropriate supervision.
