Gear selector cable adjustment

Adjustment

1. Move the gear selector to position "D".



2. Raise and support the vehicle. See Section 100-02 for more information.

NOTE: Make sure the selector lever cable outer bushing can move freely after the lock is released.

Unlock the selector lever cable lock mechanism (turn counterclockwise).

NOTE: The mark on the TR sensor must be in line with the mark on the transaxle select lever.

Move the selector lever on the transaxle to the position "D" (TR sensor shown in removed position).



5. Block the outer bushing of the selector lever cable. To do this, turn the locking mechanism in a clockwise direction.



6. Lower the car.

7. Check up adjustment of a cable of the lever of a choice of transfers.
