Withdrawal
1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Section 100-02 for more information.

NOTE: Place a suitable container under the transmission fluid sump.
NOTE: This crankcase is filled with transmission fluid; before removing the crankcase, it is impossible to drain the transmission fluid from it.
Remove the transmission fluid housing.
- Turn out bolts.
- Using the special tool, remove the bead of sealant.
3. Thoroughly remove the sealant from the surfaces of the transmission fluid case and transaxle case using a metal cleaner or equivalent.
Installation
1. Apply a bead of Loctite 5699 one and a half millimeters thick to the transmission fluid sump.
2. Install the transmission fluid housing.
3. Lower the car.
4. Check the transmission fluid level.
