Idle Air Control Valve (1.8L/2.0L/1.6L Zetec-E)

Withdrawal

1. Remove the air filter outlet pipe.



2. Disconnect the idle air control valve electrical connector (IAC).



3. Remove the top IAC valve bolt.



4. Raise and support the vehicle. See Section 100-02 for more information.

5. Remove the IAC valve.

Installation

1. Replace the elements in reverse order.
