Withdrawal
1. Drain the coolant from the cooling system. For more information, refer to the chapter Draining/Filling Coolant and Bleeding Air from the Cooling System found in this section.
2. Disconnect the wiring harness clamp from the cooling fan shroud.
3. Raise and support the vehicle. See Section 100-02 for more information.
4. Disconnect and support the air conditioning condenser.
5. Using the special tool, disconnect the upper radiator hose (motor and cooling fan shroud shown in removed position for clarity).
6. Using the special tool, disconnect the coolant hoses (motor and cooling fan shroud shown in removed position for clarity).
7. Disconnect the wiring harness clamps from the cooling fan shroud.
8. Disconnect the wiring harness clamp from the radiator support bracket.
9. Disconnect the horn connector (ov).
10. Turn out bolts of a basic arm of a radiator.

NOTE: Support the heatsink, cooling fan motor, and shroud.
Remove the radiator support bracket.
12. Remove the heatsink, cooling fan motor, and shroud.

CAUTION: Do not use excessive force to release the cooling fan motor and shroud.
Remove the cooling fan motor and shroud from the radiator.
- 1.Release the clips.
- 2.Remove the cooling fan motor and shroud from the radiator.
Installation
1. Replace the elements in reverse order.
2. Fill the cooling system. For more information, refer to the chapter Draining/Filling Coolant and Bleeding Air from the Cooling System found in this section.
