Exhaust manifold — removal and installation

Withdrawal

1. Remove the dipstick and oil level indicator tube.



2. Remove the radiator fan and associated shroud. See Section 303-03 for more information.

3. Turn out the lower bolts of fastening of the heat-shielding screen of a final collector.



4. Disconnect the exhaust manifold from the catalytic converter.



5. Lower the car.

6. Remove the heat shield of the exhaust system.



7. Remove the exhaust manifold.

• Remove the exhaust manifold pointing downwards.
• Discard gaskets as they are no longer needed.

Installation

NOTE: Install new exhaust manifold gaskets.

Reinstall the elements in reverse order.
