Withdrawal

1. Remove the timing belt. For more information, refer to the chapter Removing and installing the timing belt available in this section..

2. Raise the vehicle. See Section 100-02 for more information.

3. Remove the pulley from the crankshaft.



4. Using the special tool, remove the crankshaft front oil seal.

Installation

1. Using the special tool, install the crankshaft front oil seal. Before installing the seal, apply to the crankshaft seating surface and the sealing lip ("lip") oil seal engine oil.



2. Install the pulley on the crankshaft.



3. Lower the car.

4. Put on the timing belt. For more information, refer to the chapter Removing and installing the timing belt available in this section.
