Accelerator cable (Duratec ST 2.0 l) — removal and installation

Withdrawal

1. Remove the cover from the throttle body.



2. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle body.

• 1. Remove the clip and disconnect the cable from the throttle body.
• 2. Rotate the outer sheath of the cable.

3. Release the accelerator cable from the clip.

4. Remove the footwell trim panel.



5. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the pedal.



6. To facilitate installation, tie a wire to the accelerator cable that can be pulled on the cable.



7. Remove the accelerator cable.

Installation

NOTE: Before installing the throttle cable into the grommet, the rubber grommet must be inserted into the baffle.

Reinstall the elements in reverse order.
