Fuel system wiring harness (Duratec ST 2.0L)

Withdrawal

1. Disconnect a wire of weight from the accumulator. See Section 414-01 for more information.

2. Remove the ignition coil cover.

• 1. Disconnect the clips.
• 2. Release the pipeline of a cooling liquid from a clip and remove a cover of the coil of ignition.

3. Disconnect the air filter outlet pipe.



4. Disconnect the throttle position sensor connector (TP) (air filter shown removed for clarity).



5. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor electrical connector (SMR).




6. Disconnect the engine coolant temperature sensor connector (ECT).



7. Disconnect the plug connector of the idle air control valve (IAC) (air filter shown removed for clarity).



8. Disunite the plug connectors of the electrical wiring harness of the fuel supply system.



9. Remove the spark plug cover.




10. Disconnect the plug connector of the variable valve timing solenoid valve (VCT).



11. Raise and support the vehicle. See Section 100-02 for more information.

12. Disconnect the electrical connector for the oil pressure switch.



13. Lower the car.

14. Disconnect the knock sensor connector (KS) (for clarity, the intake manifold is shown removed).




15. Disconnect the intake manifold vacuum control connector (air filter shown removed for clarity).



16. Disconnect the plug connector of the fuel pressure sensor.



17. Release the fuel supply harness clamp from the ignition coil bracket.



18. Disunite electric sockets of fuel atomizers.



19. Remove the fuel supply wiring harness.

Installation

1. Replace the elements in reverse order.
