Fuel System Wiring Harness (1.8L/2.0L/1.6L Zetec-E)

Withdrawal

1. Disconnect a wire of weight from the accumulator. See Section 414-01 for more information.

2. Disconnect the air filter outlet pipe.



3. Disconnect the throttle position sensor connector (TR).



4. Disconnect the breather hose from the valve cover.



5. Disconnect the plug connector of the camshaft position sensor (SMR).




6. Disconnect the plug connector of the idle air control valve (IAC).



7. Disunite the plug connector of the fuel injection harness.



8. Raise and support the vehicle. See Section 100-02 for more information.

9. Remove engine protection.



10. Disconnect the plug connector of the oil pressure switch.




11. Lower the car.

12. Disunite the plug connector of the cylinder head temperature sensor.



13. Disconnect the accelerator cable.

• 1. Remove the clip and disconnect the cable from the throttle body.
• 2. Rotate the outer sheath of the cable.
• 3. Disconnect the accelerator cable.

14. Disconnect the plug connectors for the fuel injectors.




15. Remove the fuel injection harnesses.

Installation

1. Replace the elements in reverse order.
