Pliers for spark plug connectors 303-622 (21-226)

Withdrawal

1. Relieve pressure in the fuel supply system. See Section 303-00 for more information.

2. Disconnect a wire of weight from the accumulator.

3. Disconnect the engine vent hose from the engine cover.



4. Disconnect the idle air control valve electrical connector (IAC).



5. Disconnect the throttle position sensor electrical connector (TR).




6. Release the wiring harness from the clip.



7. Disconnect the fuel lines from the engine cover.



8. Remove the engine cover.

CAUTION: When disconnecting the spark plug connector, do not pull on the wire. Do not twist the connector to avoid damaging the spark plug seal.

Disconnect wires from spark plugs. Use a special tool.



10. Disconnect the plug connector of the cylinder head temperature sensor.



11. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor connector.



12. Disunite an electric socket of a plait of electroconducting of system of injection of fuel.




13. Disunite electric sockets of fuel atomizers.

Installation

1. Replace the elements in reverse order.
