Consolidation of the right semiaxis — removal and installation

Special tool

	Axle shaft oil seal remover 308-208 (16-074)
	Crankcase Oil Seal Installer 307-028 (17-002)

Withdrawal

1. Remove the right axle shaft and intermediate shaft. See Section 205-04 for more information.

2. Using the special tool, remove the half shaft oil seal.

Installation

1. Using the special tool, install the axle shaft oil seal.



2. Establish the right semiaxle and an intermediate shaft. See Section 205-04 for more information.

3. Check the transmission fluid level in the transaxle transaxle, correct if necessary using the same manual transmission fluid. For more information, refer to the chapter Draining Transmission Fluid from the Transaxle Transmission and Filling Transmission Fluid into the Transaxle Transmission in this section.
