Withdrawal


1. Standard preparatory procedures:
  • Write down the radio key code.
  • Record preset radio stations.
  • If necessary, cut the clamps and install new ones when reassembling.

CAUTION: Disconnect wire "masses" from the battery.


Remove the air filter housing.
  • 1.Disconnect the MAF sensor electrical connector (MAF).
  • 2.Disconnect the crankcase ventilation hose.
  • 3.Disconnect the inlet hose.
  • Remove the air filter housing from the rubber bushings.



3. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle body.
  • 1.Unfasten the cable.
  • 2.Remove the plastic clip and move the accelerator cable to the side.



4. Disconnect vacuum hoses and disconnect sockets.



5. Relieve pressure in the fuel line. See Section 100-00 for more information.


6. Disconnect the fuel line.



7. Disconnect the intake manifold (The illustration shows the engine removed).
  • 1. Remove the intake manifold studs at the front end of the engine.
  • 2. Remove/loose the nine bolts/nuts.



Installation


1. Install intake manifold (The illustration shows the engine removed).

NOTE: The tightening torque of the studs is 10 Nm.

  • 1. Screw in the intake manifold studs.
  • 2. Tighten the nine bolts/nuts.



2. Connect the fuel line.




3. Connect vacuum hoses and dock sockets.



4. Connect the accelerator cable to the throttle body.
  • 1. Fix the cable in the required position.
  • 2. Connect the plastic clip and fix the accelerator cable.

CAUTION: Connect the wire "masses" to the battery.


Install the air filter housing.
  • Insert the air filter housing into the rubber bushings.
  • 1.Connect the MAF sensor electrical connector (MAF).
  • 2. Connect the crankcase ventilation hose.
  • 3.Connect the inlet hose.



6. Standard finishing operations:
  • Enter the radio key code.
  • Reprogram preset radios.
  • Install new clamps when reassembling, if necessary.
