Removal and installation of a forward wing

You will need: wrench and socket head «on 10».

1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.



2. Remove mudguard..



3.... and front fender liner (cm. «Removal and installation of wheel mudguards and fender liner»).



4. Remove the noise insulation from the wing cavity.




5. Remove the headlight (cm. «Headlight Replacement»).



6. Remove the bolts of the outer..



7.... and internal fastenings of the front bumper to the front fender.



8. Turn out a bolt of fastening of a back edge of a wing to a forward rack of a body.

NOTE: The front door has been removed for clarity, however, with the door fully open, the wing bolt is fully accessible.

9. Remove the side turn signal lamp (cm. «Replacement of a lateral lantern of the index of turn»).



10. Squeezing out the rear edge of the decorative corner trim of the front pillar..



11.... remove the lining, overcoming the elastic resistance of the three caps of its fastening.




12. Turn out a bolt of fastening of a wing to a forward rack located under a decorative slip.

13. Remove the air intake grille and plenum plate (cm. «Removal and installation of the grille of the air supply box and the drain shield»).



14. Turn out a bolt of fastening of a wing to a bulkhead shield.



15. Turn out the clips of the two caps for fastening the decorative shield of the front wing..




16.... prying with a screwdriver..



17.... remove the latches..



18.... and pistons..



19.... and remove the shield.



20. Turn out two bolts of fastening of a wing to a mudguard of a motor compartment..



21.... one bolt of fastening to the frame of the engine compartment..



22.... one bolt of fastening to the A-pillar in the front wheel arch..



23.... two bolts of fastening to the threshold of the body..



24.... and remove the front fender.

25. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
