Removal and installation of the grille of the air supply box and the drain shield

The grille of the air intake box and the water deflector are removed if they are damaged or to gain access to the windshield wiper, as well as when replacing the windshield glass.

You will need: TORX T30 wrench, flat blade screwdriver.

1. Open the hood and place it on the stop.



2. Remove the hood seal.



3. Using a screwdriver, remove the six air intake grille spring clips.

NOTE: This is how the spring holders of the air intake grille are located.

4. Remove the levers from the axes of the wiper trapezoid leashes (cm. «Replacing Windshield Wiper Arms»).



5. Remove the grille of the air intake box by removing the longitudinal protrusion on the rear edge of the grille from the groove in the windshield glass seal.



6. Remove the two screws that secure the water deflector located along its edges on the left and right..



7.... and remove the water deflector by pulling its edge out from under the four spring clips (one of the clamps is shown by an arrow).

8. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
