Removal and installation of facings of a luggage carrier

You will need: TORX T45 wrench, flat and Phillips screwdrivers.

NOTE: Removal of trunk linings is shown in the reverse order of their installation on the vehicle. An attempt to remove them in a different sequence will not lead to the desired result, since each previous facing holds the subsequent ones with its edges.

1. Open the tailgate.



2. Remove the upper ends of the cords from the holders on the left and right of the door to raise the trunk shelf..



3.... and remove the shelf.



4. Remove the trunk floor mat.




5. Remove the spare tire from the trunk (cm. «Wheel replacement») …



6.... and both leveling pads, which also serve as containers for small items.



7. Remove the four clips for fastening the back panel lining..



8.... and remove the lining, removing its edge from under the seal of the tailgate opening.




9. Tilt forward a pillow of a back seat and turn out the screw of the bottom fastening of a seat belt of the lateral passenger.



10. Remove the plug from the hole in the upper trim of the sidewall for the passage of the seat belt and remove the plug from the belt.



11. Turn out two screws of fastening of an average facing of a sidewall …




12.... separate the lining from the sidewall, overcoming the elastic resistance of its holders..



13.... and remove the lining by passing the seat belt through its hole. Remove the middle lining of the other sidewall in the same way.



14. Remove the corner facing, overcoming the elastic resistance of its holders. Remove the corner trim on the other side of the trunk in the same way.




15. Tilt the back of the rear seat forward, move the rear edge of the lower sidewall trim away from the sidewall and remove the trim, removing its front edge from under the bottom of the C-pillar trim. Similarly, remove the lower part of the facing of the other sidewall.

16. Remove the top part of facing of a back rack (cm. «Removal and installation of facings of salon»).



17. Use a screwdriver to pry off the edge of the plug of the upper lining of the sidewall..



18.... and remove the plug, overcoming the elastic resistance of its latches.



19. Turn out two screws of fastening of the top facing to a sidewall …



20.... and remove the upper lining of the sidewall, overcoming the elastic resistance of its holders. Similarly remove the top facing of the second sidewall.

NOTE: Inspect trunk lining holders, replace broken holders.

21. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
