Removal and installation of a door of a back

You will need a socket «on 10».

1. Remove all upholstery of the tailgate (cm. «Removal and installation of an upholstery of a door of a back»).

2. Remove the tailgate window wiper (cm. «Replacing the tailgate window wiper motor»).

NOTE: The tailgate is usually removed for replacement or repair, in almost all of these cases the removal of the windshield wiper is required. However, if it is not necessary to remove it, then you can only disconnect the wiring harness block from it.

3. Disconnect the tailgate release button harness connector.



4. Disconnect the wires from the left..



5.... and the right license plate lights.




6. Disconnect a wire from the tire of a heating element of an electric heating of glass of a back door.



7. Remove the wire harness holders from the holes in the inner panel of the door..



8.... and harness seal..



9.... then remove the wiring harness from the door cavity.




10. Remove the tailgate glass washer hose seal from the door panel..



11.... and disconnect the hose.



12. Turn out four bolts of fastening of loops to a door of a back (two on the left and right hinges) and remove the door.

GOOD ADVICE: If you are removing the door not for replacement, we recommend that you mark the position of the hinges (for example, circle them around the contour with a felt-tip pen).

13. Install the tailgate in the reverse order of removal.
