Removal and installation of a washer glass of a wind window

You will need: socket head «on 10», flat blade screwdriver.

1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.

2. Remove the decorative overlay of the right wing (cm. «Removal and installation of a forward wing»).



3. Turn out a bolt of fastening …



4.... and remove the washer reservoir neck.

5. Remove the right front wheel (cm. «Wheel replacement»).

6. Remove the right front fender liner (cm. «Removal and installation of wheel mudguards and fender liner»).



7. Disconnect the windshield washer hoses..




8.... and glass tailgate windows (hatchback and estate cars).



9. Disconnect the wiring harness block from the washer reservoir bracket..



10.... squeeze the latch..



11.... disconnect the block and install it back on the washer reservoir bracket.




12. Turn out the rear..



13.... and the front washer reservoir bolts.



14. Slide the washer reservoir forward and remove it.

15. Drain the washer fluid from the reservoir.

NOTE: This is what the hole in the car body looks like, which includes the reservoir bracket. To remove the tank, it is necessary to move it forward so that the bracket coincides with the wide part of the hole, and when installing it, back so that the bracket is fixed in the narrow part of the hole.

16. Squeeze the latch..



17.... and disconnect the wiring harness block from the washer pump.



18. Disconnect the hoses from the pump fittings.



19. Remove the electric pump.




20. Pry with a screwdriver..



21.... and remove the pump sealing sleeve.



22. Pry with a screwdriver..



23.... and remove the filler neck seal.

NOTE: Replace heavily hardened or torn bushings.

24. If you need to replace the hoses, remove them from the bracket..



25.... from the holders on the tank..



26.... and remove the hoses by disconnecting them from the pump.



27. To replace the washer jet, open the hood, disconnect the jet wiring harness block..



28.... pry with a screwdriver..



29.... and disconnect the fluid supply hose from the jet.



30. Press the retainer with a screwdriver..



31.... and remove the washer jet by pulling its wiring harness through the hole in the hood.

32. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
