Removal and installation of a starter

The starter is mounted on the clutch housing at the rear of the power unit.

You will need: key «at 13», end heads «on 10» And «at 13».

1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.



2. Squeeze the latch..



3.... and disconnect the starter wiring harness block.



4. Disconnect block from the holder on a plait of wires.



5. Loosen the lower starter mounting bolt..



6....finally unscrew and remove the bolt.

NOTE: The same starter mounting bolt also attaches the wire bracket. Don't forget to install it when building.

7. Turn out two top bolts of fastening of a starter..

NOTE: The top left bolt is attached «mass» the wire. Don't forget to connect it when assembling.

8.... take the starter away from the cylinder block and lower it down.



9. Turn off two nuts of fastening of wires to conclusions of the traction relay..



10.... disconnect the wires and remove the starter.

11. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
