Rear light replacement

To replace the rear light of cars with hatchback and station wagon bodies perform the following operations.

You will need a Phillips screwdriver.

1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.

2. Open the trunk.



3. Turn out the top...



4.... and the lower rear light mounting screws.



5. Take the lamp away from the body, overcoming the force of the clamps.

NOTE: Pry with a screwdriver, remove and replace the retainers if the light came off too easily.

Also replace the retainers if they remain on the light guides.



6. Squeeze the clips and disconnect the wiring harness pads from the lamp sockets and remove the rear light.

NOTE: On station wagon vehicles, disconnect the common harness connector from the lamp and remove the tail lamp.

7. Establish a back lantern in an order, the return to removal.

To replace the rear light of sedan vehiclesperform the following operations.

1. Disconnect the wire from the terminal «minus» battery.

2. Open the trunk.

3. Turn the two latches on the rear light cover and remove the cover.

4. Compress a clamp and disconnect a block of a plait of wires from a lantern.

5. Turn away three nuts of fastening and remove a back lantern.

6. Install the parts in the reverse order of removal.
