Removal and installation of wiper arms

Withdrawal

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. If you need to remove the windshield wiper arms, close the hood.

2. With the levers in their original position, mark the position of the brushes on the glass with wax or tape.

3. Lift the plastic cap off the base of the wiper arm and loosen the nut one or two turns (see fig. 15.3).



4. Lift the lever and separate it from the tapered shaft end.

5. Completely unscrew the nut and remove the lever from the shaft (see fig. 15.5).

Installation

6. Installation - 8th order, the return to removal. Establish the lever on marks made at removal.
